Finally, after nearly 26 years, I finally have a reason to thank my mom for naming me "Dave."

Of the many, many, MANY people I've shown my Halo 3D images to, only a small percentage have actually experienced its splendor. And so it's for this small percentage of people that I dedicate this video, my first-ever edited-together 3D clip, Saving Wurthles.

To properly view this stereoscopic video, you must cross your eyes so the two images of the video overlap. to get your eyes used to the video and for more details.

ABOUT THE VIDEO: Taking place during an infection game, my buddy and I decided to take on some zombies.

I don't think there's a question in anyone's mind when it comes to my favorite video game. Reciprocally, one of my absolute least favorite songs also shares that name. And in case you haven't figured it out, it's called "Halo."

So why, then, did I blend together these two opposite tastes in one feel-good YouTube video? Well, for starters, they both do share the same name, but most importantly I consider this a "parody." And I do love parodies!

I also figured out (while making this) that Beyoncé's song isn't quite as bad as her music video. I feel this video really spices up the overall song. ENJOY!

So, it's Good Friday, and Easter is right around the corner. Here's a fun little picture to make your Good Friday Great. Click to enjoy HUGE.

I met up with my Dad's side of the family at the Roseville VFW to be entertained by an Elvis Impersonator. What really made this entertaining was the fact that this particular impersonator is my brother Jimmy. Unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with the workings of Elvis, so I couldn't sing along with him.

What I do understand about Elvis is that he is like Santa Claus for older women. They definitely knew the lyrics! But the reason for all the "impersonators" is because the real Elvis is busy writing songs and growing sideburns; my brother Jimmy is called upon just like all those mall Santas.

What really impressed me about the show was when Jimmy attributed a song to a "Frank Sinatra." Despite it being a much slower song than the others, I totally could tell that Frank Sinatra is the real name for 50 Cent.

Yeah, this was completely out of my league.

Today marks a monumental day. I not only have figured out some crazy Flash/Java/XHTML stuff to work for me , but I also managed to get this whole website up and live! Well, I s'pose not the "WHOLE" website, but enough to get real excited and proud of my accomplishments thus far. Go ahead, explore. You'll find that is the only really complete page in the "Work" section.

As for the rest of this site, I will be working hard this weekend to not only get it all up, but to finish my book as well. It's coming along, but I do wish I had some more time before the end of this Quarter. And of course this Quarter being my 8th and final quarter at Miami Ad School. In Minneapolis. Minnesota.

As of now, I'm very excited about the Halo 3D page, but I'm looking very forward to the MAS page as I will be showcasing my 2-year adventure of Miami Ad School with the world utilizing a little video and complete with its very own Soccer Poster section. So why am I excited to create a section of something all MAS students dread? Because I worked hard on them and don't want their time and effort to be in vain.

...oh Soccer Posters...

This was my "blank canvas" day. My screen was blank. I had papers on top of papers of different sketches and layouts, all of which I was unsatisfied with. I finally decided today I was going to get something done and I was going to like it. I'm decently pleased.
